Like many other construction materials, Non flame retardant STYRO EPS is combustible. It should not be left to expose flame or other ignition sources. STYRO EPS insulation should be encapsulated with a thermal barrier or otherwise installed in accordance with applicable building code requirements. ( pls. refer fire page for more details)
